Sparkler

Hebron Public Schools, in conjunction with Connecticut’s departments of the Bureau of Special Education and the Office of Early Childhood, is excited to announce a new partnership with Sparkler!  Sparkler is a free app available from the Apple and Google Play Store. Sparkler! is an evidenced-based mobile platform designed to promote healthy early childhood development for children ages 0-5. You will find family resources including tracking tools to monitor children's social/emotional development, cognitive communication, and physical development as well as age-appropriate content for your young learner. We encourage you to explore all the Sparkler app has to offer. 

Get started with Sparkler:

Download: If you have an Android smartphone or tablet, download Sparkler from the Google Play Store. If you use an iPhone or iPad, download Sparkler from the Apple App Store.

Register: Open the app and tap “Create a New Account.” Enter 1-6-0-0 as your provider key. Pick Family/Familia in the “Group” drop-down menu. Answer the questions to create an account for yourself and a profile for your child. You must enter your child’s birthday correctly because Sparkler assigns screenings and other content based on your child’s age. You’ll be asked for a “provider key” to link you with your school/provider. Please skip this step for now!

Homeowner Assistance Program: COVID-19 Updates & Resources | CHFA

The CT Housing Finance Authority, with financial support from the State of CT, has launched a homeowner assistance program for low and moderate income households in CT who are struggling to pay their mortgages due to the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

AHM Youth and Family Services

AHM Family Resource Center

Hebron Interfaith Human Services

Hebron Parks and Recreation Enrichment Program (PREP)

Parks and Recreation Enrichment Program continues to offer before and after school care for Hebron children in grades PreK (3 years and up and potty trained) through 6th grade. Our goal at PREP is to provide a supportive, nurturing environment in which children can develop socially, emotionally and physically. Children will enjoy friends, sports, games, nature, arts and crafts and outside play. A snack will be provided.
