Local Resources

  • AHM Youth and Family Services:  (860) 228-9488 AHM serves citizens of all ages from Andover, Hebron and Marlborough and some services for Columbia. AHM has satellite offices and programs in each of the K-12 public schools.
  • AHM Family Resource Center:  (860) 537-1260 AHM offers free developmental screenings, home visits, and workshops for providers, as well as programs for young children and families. The family resource center is located at Gilead Hill Elementary School.
  • Hebron Interfaith Human Services:  (860) 228-1681 HIHS serves the needs of those in the Hebron community and surrounding towns through our food pantry, weekend backpack program for school-aged children, weekend food bag for homebound seniors and the immuno-compromised and various energy assistance programs. Pantry hours are every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.  HIHS is located at 20 Pendleton Drive, Hebron, CT 06248
  • CT FoodShare:  (203) 469-5000 Serves individuals and families across the entire state by not only distributing nutritious food through a network of local partner programs but also by addressing the root causes of hunger. Through its commitment to creating long-term solutions, Connecticut Foodshare works to ensure that everyone has access to the food and resources they need to thrive.
  • Hebron Parks & Recreation (PREP):  (860) 530-1281 Offers before and after school care for Hebron children in grades PreK (3 years and older and are potty trained) through 6th grade.  Children will enjoy friends, sports, games, nature, arts and crafts as well as outside play.  Hebron Parks and Recreation also offers programs not only for children but also for youth and adults.
